Blide Hoose offers the opportunities to take part in the daily work of the Trust (Work ordered day) and aims to promote social recovery through meaningful activity and social contact.
Members are encouraged to build on their strengths, skills and abilities and are supported to have a go and learn something new.
Member contributions are valued and play an essential part in the smooth running of the Trust.
The work ordered day takes place through our units; Catering, Gardening & Maintenance (CMG) and Administration, Education & Employment (AEE).

All jobs are undertaken with support as required.
Any members of the Trust interested in accessing information on education and employment are encouraged to do so through the AEE Unit.
Education support on offer includes: applications for course funding, sourcing courses, applying for courses, provision of in house training courses, etc.
Employment support on offer includes: CV writing, skills identification, interview skills, application support, etc.
Some members may wish to move into employment and Transitional Employment Placement (TEP) enables them to dip into employment in a supported way.
